Located in Rome's Flaminio quarter, MAXXI (the National Museum of 21st Century Arts) is a contemporary art museum designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. Notably, Hadid was the first woman to receive the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize.
